![]() ![]() The Adults are found in the Grand Reef, Blood Kelp Zones, and the Void, and are much larger than their smaller counterparts. They also seem a bit less aggressive, but that might just be me. The Juveniles are found in the Lost River and are a bit bigger than a Reaper, but they don’t do as much damage and move comparably slowly. Ghost Leviathans can come in two sizes: Juvenile and Adult. They all have their share of differences, though. Other Leviathans follow suit in terms of size and aggressiveness. Although it is unable to grab the Cyclops, it will still repeatedly ram into it in an attempt to get to you which will deal massive damage to it. They have also been observed taking the Seamoth and smashing it into the seabed, destroying it instantly. The Reaper Leviathan is also capable of using their mandibles to grab onto the Seamoth and Prawn Suit, crushing it in their grip and dealing massive damage to it, sometimes up to 60%. If you health is already below 80, though, they will instead grab onto you with their mandibles and EAT YOU ALIVE. They will bite you for 80 damage, 4/5 of your health bar. They can swim fast enough to catch up to you if you make a break for it on your Seaglide or Seamoth. Reaper Leviathans can perform many different attacks, all of which will screw you over. You should be able to tell if one is nearby from their heavily distinguishable roar, there really isn't anything else like it. So don't head in from the right side of the island.) A Reaper Leviathan skeleton can also be found in the Inactive Lava Zone. (Speaking of which, one of them may spawn directly on the right of Mountain Island, right next to the Quarantine Enforcement Platform. 6 each (yeah, 6) also are found in the Mountains and the Dunes. Reaper Leviathans guard both the front and the back of the ship, however their positions are not consistent and may vary between games. Usually, the first time you will see one is when you attempt to invade the Aurora. It's so big, in fact, that it's the 5th biggest species in Subnautica, and the 3rd largest aggressive species. The Reaper Leviathan is a huge species of fauna, about the size of a Cyclops. Got that? You sure? Ok, but be warned, you will likely die trying to do this. Honestly, if you are new to this game, then you probably wont have the neccesary appliances to take down a reaper, so don't even try. I wouldn't read this unless you want to risk impairing your experience. Just a little notice: if you are new to this game, SPOILERS ARE AHEAD. Welcome to Jackass, I'm Xen, and today we're going to be taking down one of the biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this entire game. You can also kill the Sea Dragon, but note that unlike other leviathans it is resistant to the Thermoblade, so you should disregard the point I make about that later in the guide and use a normal knife instead. ![]() I recommend starting with them and working your way up to the Reaper. This is the first game in a long time that has held my attention and literally had me addicted.īIKE - upgrade the engine so you can hold more fuel. It really does give you the sense of being in a post apocalyptic world. The Game play is amazing, even if you decide to do nothing. It can be very unnerving travelling around during the night. Then at night - ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE!!! It it guaranteed that eventually you will accidentally ride directly into a huge swarm, and if like me, you will scream like b*tch and your Ar*ehole will almost fly out of your mouth. During the day, you can travel around, choosing what to do, bumping into a few zombies, taking out camps, completing missions, occasionally bumping into a hoard. But, this game will certainly keep you on your toes. The level up system can be kind of slow, depending on how you play the game. Sometimes the entire day has passed me by and I realise I've been playing for 10 hours. I am currently half way through this game (so I've been told), and I have not been disappointed. Definitely one of the better games in 2019 for me personally. But if you like open world zombie games with a great story, superb combat mechanics (better and very borrowed from The Last of Us), good exploration and superb and not traditional characters (but very good ones eventually) - look no further - Days Gone is a very good game, very long one and a highly enjoyable one. The game itself might feel repetitive as well. Yes it is not perfect, far from it - it crashed like 3 or 4 times for me when I had literally to restart my PS4 (first time in 5 years due to game issues). ![]() ![]() ![]() And the main hero is not a hero at all in here - more like an antihero - like it or not this is what it is, and I loved it (without any spoilers) Overall, do not listen to critics who said this game is not good at all. When there is literally a hundred "friecks" at the same time coming to get you and you are running with your depleting stamina with a moon on your backdrop and a gas canister in your hand knowing that your bike is empty - this is where "Days Gone" kicks it in its full! What an experience. There is great exploration in this games, tons of achievements and hordes. The open world welt harsh and brutal and the one "as comes for you" - you never feel entirely safe in this open world. Narative of it was great, as well as acting, script and as I said - story. I highly enjoyed story of "Days Gone" - probably strongest aspect of this game. While its not on a same league as "God of War" and some few other PS4 late masterpieces, this is a one halluva great game. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When shopping for test kits, consumer’s choice is driven by several factors: To check for all those elements, we use aquarium grade test kits that are readily available on the market. Finding the right balance between those three coral building elements is a key to maintain a successful stony corals and clams dominated reef tank. Finally, all stony corals use calcium carbonate to build their skeleton, therefore in order to supplement their grow we need to regularly test for calcium (Ca), alkalinity (kH) and Magnesium (Mg) dissolved in water. In order to provide for most photosynthetic corals and other invertebrates, we need to control nutrients in water by testing for phosphates (PO4) and nitrates (NO3). While the first is obvious – no nutrient reducing chemical can substitute for good ol’ water change, testing for parameters requires some basic knowledge about seawater elements and their importance in reef dwelling fish and invertebrates husbandry.īasic parameters every reefer needs to know and check regularly are temperature, salinity, ammonia levels and pH of water. There are, however, two aspects every successful reef story share: water changes and knowing your saltwater parameters. Count into that the sophisticated nature of sessile invertebrates, their chemical interactions and enormous range of habitats they are collected from and we quickly realize there is no “sweet point” and the best we could do is create optimal conditions for corals to live and propagate. Every single reef aquarium is different, starting from source of water, salt mix used, lighting up to the choice of animals housed. Magic potions, miracles-in a bottle, innovative equipment and countless dosing variations are all part of a quest to find the Holy Grail, but so far, it just doesn’t exist.
